So many of us have found that tablets fill most computer needs for us.
Along with the usual web-browsing, writing & other communication tasks, tablets offer so many functions that traditional laptops and towers cannot. But without a USB port, iPads don’t play nicely with other, non-Apple products. Apple forces the use of the new thunderbolt, or older i-device connector, or transferring over the air.
As fast as Bluetooth and Wi-Fi are, they are not as fast as a direct connection. And speed matters when you’re moving big phat photo philes.
Enter the (very reasonably priced) Promaster iPad camera connector. They sell two versions, one for older iPads, and one for newer thunderbolt iPads. Just insert a memory card, or connect your camera via USB. Photos flow seamlessly into your iPad, ready to edit & share. We’ve seen them selling for around $20, nice price!
Does Memento sell them?
Why no, we don’t!
But your local photo shop does, look them up in Promaster’s dealer directory. Even though we don’t sell them, we like to keep our friends up-to-date with ways to cut the hassle & increase the joy of your photography.
