This year, many communities world wide are facing adversity. Because of the support of our wonderful partners and clients like you, the Memento Press team has plenty to be grateful for.
Paying it Forward
Memento Press has teamed up with a local print provider producing durable, comfortable face shields. Our non-profit, Homefront Rosie, (founded by our very own Josh Litwin) collects financial contributions, sells shields to those who can pay, and donates face shields to those in need.
Our face shields help reduce the spread of Covid-19. You may have seen them in use by medical professionals, in conjunction with face masks. Wearing both is critical in the hospital environment.
But it turns out they can reduce the spread, even if worn by themselves, in our everyday lives. At the 50 minute mark in the video below, a researcher presents findings to UCSF regarding the effectiveness of face shields. They are not a miracle cure. But they have their place.
Shields can be more comfortable than most masks, as they don’t fog your glasses, don’t impede your breathing, and don’t lean on your ears. Homefront Rosie face shields are in use today by medical professionals, front-line service workers, workers who have returned to their offices and families.
