Getting the wall art just right can make all the difference when redesigning your home.
Our clients Kevin and Manja wanted to invite Mother Ocean into their redecorated coastal home. They chose striking sculptures of sea creatures, picked just the right azure palette for walls, and lit it all so you feel yourself embraced in a serene living reef.
But the wall art they found simply didn’t match their vision. They needed strong ocean imagery, presented at a scale and with a brightness to match their new décor.
Working with Jeff Hall from Surfline’s A-Frame Photo, and Sheryl Iledan here at Memento Press, Kevin and Manja now enjoy stunning ocean vistas throughout their home. Images from some of the world’s finest surf and undersea photographers come to life aboard large-scale metal prints, framed with bright aluminum channel.
Jeff consulted with Kevin and Manja to understand their taste and goals. That let him review A-Frame’s library of thousands of the best surf photos, from all the photographers A-Frame represents. Then Jeff provided Sheryl, Memento Press’ Lead Designer, with photos of the rooms that needed images, along with the candidate images. Sheryl got to work creating visual mockups of exactly how the currently-blank walls might come to life. Kevin and Manja reviewed and edited the design and photo selection, until everything was just right.
Memento Press produced these prints, ranging from 2′ x 3′ all the way up to 8′ x 4′. We then arranged freight delivery directly to their home. Jeff even went so far as to meet the truck when it arrived at their home! That’s going the extra mile for sure.
